I contacted Circle Y directly and they confirmed the serial number is from the early 1990s (around 1992), before their digital catalog. Exceptional craftsmanship and detailed leather tooling.

A local saddle fitter has looked at the saddle and stated that the craftsmanship and condition are exceptional for the age. It will need to be re-fleeced at some point but it's absolutely usable as is.
