Full Time Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:30
The preferred candidate will have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office software (including Outlook email and calendaring tools, Word, and Excel);
good computer skills;
experience handling telephone calls that require a high level of professionalism;
excellent verbal communication skills;
excellent organizational skills;
ability to handle multiple tasks;
attention to detail; ability to work independently.
Experience in processing transactions in the Statewide Financial System (SFS) is a plus.
The incumbent will provide administrative support including travel, purchasing, fiscal reporting, and responding to public inquiries for a group of about 20 staff.
Answering incoming telephone and email inquiries to the group and distributing these inquiries for response;
Assisting with purchase-related work including tracking purchases, reviewing and approving invoices, monitoring budget and purchase order information;
Assisting with tasks such as development of expenditure plans and reports.
