Friendly Sun Conure Pair with Cage & Accessories (Massena, NY)

About Them:
Friendly and curious, but like most conures, they are loud and messy (parrot lovers know the drill!). They are not truly handtame although I have been able to handle them when needed. I have never been bitten by either bird, they are not territorial as I’m able to reach my hand inside the cage to change food and water dishes frequently. You were able to tell the difference between the mail and the female by looking at their feet/toes, as the female is missing a few toenails.
They were rescued from a neglectful situation with a hoarder, and I’ve been caring for them for the last 3 years to ensure they’re healthy and happy. Now, they’re ready for a permanent home with someone who understands their needs.
I do not know how old these birds are. They do not come with any health guarantees or documentation, as again, they were obtained from a neglectful situation. They are NOT breeders, they have never laid eggs and I was told that they came from the same clutch, meaning any offspring would be considered inbred. I will not "trade" them for anything. Pickup only - I will not deliver them to you or meet you halfway.
Requirements:
Preferably someone who has prior experience with parrots, preferably conures.
A commitment to providing a safe, engaging, and loving environment.
Non-negotiable rehoming fee: $500 (includes the pair, their cage, and all cage accessories).
